The Shenango Guidance Office will be hosting a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) Completion Night on Wednesday, February 11th, 2015, to assist families with the actual completion of the FAFSA application. Wendy Dunlap, Regional Manager of the Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency (PHEAA), will be available once again for support. We will meet in the Room 104 Computer Lab at the high school, with assistance available from 6 PM to 8 PM. Parents will need to bring specific documents with them on this date in order to submit their FAFSA. Suggested documents and some FAFSA tips are listed on the attached FAFSA Tipsheet.
Along with FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) information, additional resources are accessible including information on financial aid, scholarships and college planning. Scholarship listings are published outside the guidance office, posted in senior classrooms, broadcasted on the morning announcements, and emailed to seniors and parents as the list is updated.
