Full coverage insurance is offered at the beginning of the school year through School Device Coverage is available for $23 for the duration of the 2022-2023 school year.
This covers:
- Accidental damage
- Cracked Screen
- Liquid Submersion
- Fire
- Flood
- Loss/Theft
This only covers the actual chromebook device, not the power supply or case. If a power supply or case is lost, there will be a $20 charge to replace it.

Once you are signed up for insurance, you are able to enter and view claims on your device. Information and instructions are in this document.
Students in grades K, 1 and 2 have Dell devices. Students in grades 3 through 12 have Acer.
Current replacement costs for non-insured devices are below:
- Entire device: Market price (currently $140)
- Screen: $35
- Keyboard: $40
- Battery (billed only if damage is from user neglect): $35
- Charger: $15
- Bezel (part around front of screen) $17
- Top of chromebook lid $17
Individual keys may be replaced if only 1 or 2 are missing and a repair is possible. These will be at a cost of $6 per key. If more than 2 keys are missing or if additional damage to the device makes an individual repair impossible a full keyboard replacement will be necessary.
