The Shenango Recreation Complex was built to provide adequate spaces for Shenango athletics and extracurricular programs and for the benefit of community use. It houses three basketball/volleyball courts, a three lane indoor track, a batting cage, areas of track/field jumping events and a weight room.
The facility is available for renting to outside individuals and organizations when the facility is not in use by our school teams/programs. The weight room is not available for rental. General schedules are below but vary based on what sports are currently in season, the school district schedule and weather driven changes on campus. To check availability please use the link below.

Hours of Operation – During the School Year
Monday-Friday
6:00 a.m. – 7:30 a.m. – School personnel use only
8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. – Community use
3:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. – SASD use or SAA use when available
Saturday-Sunday
8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. – SASD and SAA (coverage by coaches).
Community use based on schedule availability (coverage by paid employee)
Hours can change due to school vacations and events. Please follow the Shenango Recreation Facility on Facebook to stay updated on any changes to the hours.

Scheduling Priority
Either while school is in session or during summer months, high school and junior high athletic/extracurricular programs will have priority considerations when scheduling. The following teams/squads/organizations will be given first preference:
- In-season varsity sports/activity
- In-season sub-varsity sports/activity
- Upcoming varsity sport/activity conditioning program
- Upcoming sub-varsity sports/activity conditioning program
- Out-of-season sports/activity
- Shenango Athletic Association sports/activity use
- Rental Opportunities and community use
